British Transport Police are appealing for public help to identify a man captured on camera after a woman was subjected to an indecent exposure on a commuter service in South East London earlier this month.
The incident took place on the morning of Tuesday 17 March, shortly before 9am, when a man boarded a train at St Johns station in Lewisham. According to officers, he moved through the carriages before deliberately sitting opposite a lone woman and exposing himself to her.
Detectives have now released an image of a man they believe may hold information relevant to their enquiries, and are urging members of the public to come forward if they recognise him.
Anyone with information can contact British Transport Police by texting 61016 or calling 0800 40 50 40. Those getting in touch are asked to quote reference 203 of 17 March. Alternatively, information can be passed on anonymously through Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
