A man has been stabbed to death outside a south London nightclub in the early hours of Easter Monday, with two further victims left in a critical condition and four men now in custody.
Emergency services were called to Laxa Lounge on Ruby Street in Peckham, where they found a 26-year-old man with stab wounds. Despite the efforts of paramedics at the scene, he was pronounced dead.
Two other men, both in their 20s, were taken to hospital, where they remain in a life-threatening condition.
Four men have since been arrested on suspicion of murder — one aged 18 and three aged 24.
Detective Chief Inspector Neil John of the Metropolitan Police described the incident as “deeply tragic,” noting that it had taken place outside a busy nightclub. He appealed for anyone with information, dashcam footage or mobile phone recordings to come forward and contact officers.
