Detectives investigating the death of a man at a west London skip yard have named a suspect they believe may hold vital information and are appealing for the publicโs help to locate him, six months after the incident.
Yadvinder Satnam Singh, 34, died at a yard on Station Approach in Greenford on 7 August 2025 after being struck by a front loader, a type of heavy plant machinery. Emergency services were called at 7:27am but paramedics were unable to save him and he was pronounced dead at the scene. A post-mortem examination confirmed he had died from multiple injuries consistent with a road traffic collision.
Following months of extensive enquiries including analysis of phone records and banking details, detectives have now named Bashar Al-Kadah, 30, as a person they wish to trace and believe may be able to assist with their investigation. Al-Kadah was last seen in the Luton area on 9 August 2025, two days after Yadvinderโs death, and is believed to have since left the United Kingdom. CCTV images of Al-Kadah taken on the day of the incident have been released by the Metropolitan Police.
Two men, both in their 40s, were arrested on suspicion of manslaughter in August last year. Both were released under investigation and enquiries continue.
Detective Constable Cynthia Da Silva, who is leading the investigation, said the team had dedicated hundreds of hours to establishing the circumstances surrounding Yadvinderโs death and was now turning to the public for help in locating Al-Kadah.
Yadvinderโs family continue to be supported by specialist officers.
Anyone who recognises Al-Kadah or has information about his whereabouts is asked to contact police on 101, quoting reference 01/7829119/25. Those wishing to remain anonymous can contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.โโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโ
