Two men have been charged in connection with a ram raid at a luxury fashion store in Westminster during the early hours of Friday morning.
Officers were called to the Yves Saint Laurent boutique on Old Bond Street shortly before 3am following reports that thieves had used an SUV to smash their way into the premises. A number of high-value items, including handbags, were stolen during the incident.
The Metropolitan Police‘s Flying Squad, which has been investigating a series of similar raids on high-value retail stores in recent months, took charge of the case. Two men were arrested later the same day.
Ryan Brough, 32, of Courtney Road, Islington, and Max Tyson, 25, of St Peter’s Street, Islington, were charged on Saturday evening with conspiracy to commit burglary between November 2025 and January 2026.
Both men have been remanded in custody and are due to appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Monday, 26 January.
According to the Met, enquiries are ongoing to locate a third man believed to have been involved in the incident at the Yves Saint Laurent store.
