A £20,000 reward is being offered by the Metropolitan Police for information that leads to the prosecution of whoever killed Daneche Tison, a 26-year-old shot dead in north-west London nearly three years ago.
Mr Tison was wounded outside a block of flats on Bruckner Street, Queen’s Park, in the early hours of 19 July 2022. Officers who attended the scene were unable to locate him at the time, and he later made his way to hospital where he died from his injuries.
Despite a number of arrests made in the years since, no one has ever been charged in connection with his death. The investigation remains open.
A Fresh Push for Answers
With the fourth anniversary of Mr Tison’s death approaching this summer, detectives are making a renewed public appeal in the hope that someone with knowledge of the killing will now come forward. The case is set to feature on BBC’s Crimewatch Live, airing on Thursday 19 March, bringing it to a national audience.
Detective Sergeant Andy Sheppard, from Specialist Crime South, said the reward reflects the Met’s commitment to resolving every murder case regardless of how much time has passed, and that investigators’ thoughts remain with Mr Tison’s family.
How To Pass On Information
Anyone who knows something about the shooting is urged to call police on 101, quoting reference 1119/19MAR. Those who wish to share what they know without identifying themselves can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, where calls are anonymous and cannot be traced.
