Detectives from British Transport Police are seeking to identify a man captured in CCTV images following a serious assault on a London Underground train.
The incident occurred around 2pm on Friday, 9 January, on an eastbound Piccadilly Line service from South Ealing Underground station. The victim suffered deep cuts to his head after being struck with a wine bottle, which shattered on impact, and required emergency hospital treatment.
According to the investigation, the suspect approached the victim and offered him alcohol whilst on the train. When the victim declined the offer, the man became abusive and aggressive.

As the victim alighted at Hammersmith Underground station, the suspect hit him on the head with the wine bottle during the attack.
British Transport Police have released CCTV footage showing a man they believe holds information vital to their ongoing enquiries. The investigation continues as authorities work to establish the full circumstances of the assault.
